Description
A European, pharmaceutical quality SAM-e found to promote healthy mood, liver and joint function.
A powerful, natural nutrient, S-adenosyl methionine (SAM-e) promotes healthy mood, liver and joint function.
NSI® SAM-e is pharmaceutical quality, full potency, and stabilized. SAM-e supplements contain amounts of both the active SS form and the inactive RS form. NSI SAM-e undergoes a natural process of microbiological fermentation, and is then specially processed without solvents. This process ensures an active SS level of 68-80%, the highest concentration available.
SAM-e supplementation may benefit aging people, as they are prone to experience joint discomfort.
SAM-e is believed to raise the levels of specific neurotransmitters, especially that of dopamine, which is important for mood regulation.
SAM-e boosts natural antioxidant levels, and may provide benefits for liver health. In the liver, SAM-e supports the improved flow of bile and replenish important antioxidants.
The typical SAM-e dosage is 400-800 mg daily for promoting a healthy mood, liver and joints. It should be consumed as a tablet that is enteric-coated and is in the stabilized and standardized form. As SAM-e is 50% elemental, a product must provide 800 mg gross to equal 400 mg elemental, thereby making it beneficial. NSI® SAM-e 400 mg (from 800 mg gross) contains 30 enteric-coated tablets.
